We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emergingEvery person working for Brimbank City Council shares our aspiration to make our City the best it can be!We are currently seeking a 2-year Temporarystaff member to join our team based at our offices in Sunshine.The roleReporting to the Transformation Projects Program Manager, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager, to lead and coordinate some of Councils major transformation projects happening in our city including the Sunshine Energy Park Delivery Strategy and Business Case funded by $500,000 Federal grant and leading Councils coordination in the delivery of the Vietnamese Museum Australia and the associated plaza and civil works.The role will also be providing project support and management to identified tasks resulting from the $4 billion redevelopment of Sunshine Station Super Hub and Albion Station.To be considered you will have:Extensive experience in project management of complex projects, including business cases and complex construction projectsAbility to manage projects in a complex governance environmentProfessional tertiary qualifications in related field.Experience in the delivery of design, documentation and implementation of major projects.Communication, graphic presentation and report writing skills.Local government experience is desirableBenefits of working at Brimbank include:Rostered day off16 days of personal leave per year (FTE)16 weeks paid parental leave (FTE)3 weeks partner leaveMake a positive impact to your local communityTo view a full list of employee benefits, please view Council''s Employee Value PropositionA Position Description for this role is attached.
