All while staying committed to our member first ethos as a proud Industry Fund.About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking Security Consultant Artificial Intelligence (AI) to join our Cyber Security team. This is a critical role focused on safeguarding the organisation as we navigate the evolving landscape of AI technologies and third-party integrations.Key Accountabilities:Leading AI-specific security risk assessments, including threat modelling, architectural reviews, and evaluation of third-party AI tools to identify risks such as evasion, poisoning, privacy breaches, and model abuse.Staying current on emerging AI threats, adversarial techniques, and regulatory developments, and translating this knowledge into actionable security strategies and controls.Providing technical leadership on AI-related initiatives, aligning AI security objectives with the broader cyber security strategy and organisational risk appetite.Developing and embedding AI security patterns, governance frameworks, and policies that enable safe and responsible AI use across cloud environments (Azure and AWS).Driving collaboration between Cyber Security, AI, and business teams to ensure secure AI integration throughout the development lifecycle.Supporting the evaluation and implementation of AI-enabled security solutions, while offering architectural oversight and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders.About YouYou thrive in complex environments with a strong background in cloud security and a practical understanding of AI-related risks. You are an influential communicator who can translate complex technical risks to a range of stakeholders. You are collaborative, adaptable, and bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. Your ability to influence, prioritise, and stay composed under pressure makes you a trusted partner in high-stakes environments.You will bring:Minimum 7 years experience in information/cyber security technical lead role.Experience with cloud security in environments such as Azure, AWS, GCP, or other enterprise-grade platforms is essential.Strong knowledge of AI-specific threat modelling, risk assessment, and secure integration of third-party toolsRelevant tertiary qualifications and/or certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, or SABSA Chartered Foundation.Knowledge of industry security frameworks and standards such as COBIT, NIST or ISO would be a plus.Experience working in or with highly regulated sectors (e.g. financial services) is desirable.Belong at CbusWe value difference, and embrace people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, gender identities, abilities and thinking styles.
