In this hands-on role, youll help maintain critical water and sewer treatment infrastructure that supports the health and wellbeing of our growing communities.Youll carry out both preventative and reactive maintenance activities across a variety of sites, working with pumps, valves, blowers, and related mechanical systems. Youll be part of a high-performing, safety-first team that values reliability, teamwork and continuous improvement. Every day brings something differentwhether it''s fault-finding, breakdown work or planned maintenance, youll play a key role in keeping our assets running smoothly.ResponsibilitiesPerform planned, corrective and reactive maintenance on water and sewer infrastructureDiagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs on pumps, valves and blowersCollaborate with electrical, SCADA and treatment teams to maintain asset performanceComplete work orders, maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety proceduresSupport continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance operationsSkills & ExperienceTrade-qualified Mechanical Fitter or equivalent mechanical qualification (Essential)Experience in pump systems and industrial mechanical maintenanceStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manualsCommitment to safety, teamwork and high-quality service deliverySee yourself thriveOur vision for GWW is Thriving People and Country.
