The opportunities are plenty for those who are ready to accept the challenge.Could that be you?Your opportunity:As our valued Senior Corporate Counsel, you will play a vital role within the TPG legal team. You will be required to provide legal advice and support in respect of material legal issues including TPGs corporate and regulatory compliance obligations. You will be tasked with providing strategic advice and risk analysis and leading complex legal negotiations.You''ll make impact by:Working closely with the Head of Legal, Corporate & Risk and others, you will be responsible for identifying, documenting and managing TPG groups compliance with key legal and regulatory obligations.Assisting with the assessment of existing processes and establishment of new processes to ensure key legal and regulatory compliance obligations are met.Delivering timely, creative and commercially astute strategic legal advice and support, that is cost-effective and aligned to TPGs operational and strategic plans.Drafting and leading negotiations for complex or strategic contracts and key projects whilst delivering optimum value for TPGBeing responsible for raising awareness of compliance issues, reviewing internal policies, drafting new policies and processes and providing advice to various stakeholders.Building strong, effective and collaborative relationships and positively influencing key TPG stakeholders by acting in a manner aligned to TPGs values.Demonstrating your ability to mentor and act as a role model to junior lawyers and/or secondees within the legal team to drive engagement and develop excellence.Leading initiatives to enhance legal knowledge management and process innovation within the TPG legal team.Supporting the Head of Legal, Corporate & Risk, General Counsel and Group Executive Legal & External Affairs and Company SecretaryWhat youll bring:Ability to deal with highly complex and high-risk issues in relation to commercial law;Ability to build effective relationships and positively influence key TPG stakeholders by acting in a manner closely aligned to TPGs values.Well-organised with excellent planning skills, particularly the ability to set clear priorities, monitor and achieve specified outcomes.Genuine team player with demonstrated relationship-building skills.Enthusiastic, efficient and emotionally resilient.Proactive, positive and innovative.A strong desire to contribute to the development and implementation of the long and short-term goals of TPG and to raise the profile of the legal team;Legally qualified (holds a current practising certificate or equivalent).Minimum of 6 years PQE (or equivalent).Excellent negotiation and influencing skills and ability to lead negotiations on complex legal transactions and issues.Strong contract drafting and advisory skills.Ability to strategically apply legal and regulatory knowledge to protect and enhance commercial interests of TPG; andSound judgment and excellent decision-making skills.What''s in it for you?Flexible hybrid way of working (from home and office)Stay Connected Mobile Access to a free mobile planStay Connected NBN Access to a free NBN 100 planYour Leave - an additional 4 days of leave to be used whenever you like - every yearAccess to TPG Learning Hub platform and internal development opportunitiesAccess to Corporate Partner DiscountsCome join us and build a better future.
