Were looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join our Group Finance team at 360 Underwriting. In this role, youll play a key part in supporting the finance function across our business units by ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payments, expense reconciliations, and reporting activities. Youll also contribute to broader finance projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and support the business with financial data and analysis. If youre proactive, collaborative, and eager to grow in a dynamic environment this could be the opportunity for you.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day finance support to business units for invoice coding, processing, and reporting.Manage weekly bank payment runs and ad hoc payments.Maintain the Accounts Payable inbox, managing approvals, processing, and responding to staff queries.Process credit card expenses using Dext, including receipt review and ledger coding.Monitor and proactively manage cash requirements in collaboration with the Financial Controller.Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.Take ownership of the intercompany process, including allocation of expenses across entities.Work across multiple systems including Xero, Dext, Hubdoc, ApprovalMax, and Microsoft Suite.Prepare ad hoc financial reports and support investigations as required.Collaborate on corporate projects that enhance finance processes and procedures.Develop and maintain strong working relationships across internal teams and external partners.The Successful Candidate Will HaveSkills & AttributesStrong written and verbal communication skills.Intermediate Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate data and solve problems.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.Logical thinker with a proactive mindset and desire to learn and grow.A team player who is resilient, collaborative, and adaptable.Knowledge & ExperienceMinimum 2 years'' post-degree experience in a similar finance role.Accounts Payable experience, including a basic understanding of GST.General accounting principles and processes.Working knowledge of Xero is preferred.Insurance industry experience is a plus.QualificationsAccounting or Finance degree required.CPA or CA qualified (or working towards) preferred.About 360 Underwriting SolutionsFounded in 2017 by Denis Morrissey and Chris Lynch, 360 Underwriting Solutions is a specialist agency dedicated to the provision of specialist insurance solutions for the broker market and their clients.
