Senior Clinical Oversight Officers work collaboratively with key service partners to identify and respond to issues and risks that affect health care outcomes and provide high level strategic advice, reports, briefings, presentations and correspondence on complex and sensitive matters.Some Of Your Duties Will IncludeReview, investigate and audit mental healthcare deliveryProvide evidence-based clinical advice to inform mental health service design and system improvementsEngage with people in custody to understand their healthcare needs and experiencesEstablish and maintain strong relationships with contracted service providers that support prompt resolution of clinical issuesPlease note that regular state-wide travel will be required and participation in an after hours on-call roster.To learn more about this role before applying, please read the attached position description.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Demonstrated experience in delivery of mental and/or AOD healthcare services in highly sensitive and complex environments.Demonstrated experience in a quality focused role.A passion to Identify issues in common for one or more clients or stakeholders and use them to build mutually beneficial partnershipsAn ability to Formulate and communicate public policy options and recommendationsQualifications/requirementsA tertiary qualification in a mental health, AOD or related field.Current AHPRA registration is desirable.How To ApplyPlease click the Apply button on this advertisement.
