About the role As a Data Analyst, you will work within the remediation and regulatory reporting team on investigating, identifying potential root causes of issues, and reconciling reporting. You will report to the remediation program manager and collaborate closely with Business Analysts and other developers across data and IT streams. As part of Rabobanks Remediation team, the data analyst supports the data lead in planning, managing, and delivering high-visibility/critical projects. These projects are reported to Senior Management, the Board, and regulators, and are crucial to the execution of the Region Australia New Zealand (RANZ) strategy. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Support customer remediation investigations through business and data analysis Develop solutions supporting tactical and strategic initiatives Assess impact of potential regulatory breaches and business issues Create data visualizations and storyboards from analysis results Explore automation opportunities Conduct reconciliation and analysis for regulatory reporting Resolve complex data issues through problem solving Work with Business Analysts and stakeholders to map data requirements and understand business needs Coordinate with Internal IT teams for solution implementation Maintain real-time analysis schedules for incidents within the remediation team Interrogate data feeds to identify and resolve data issues and ensure compliance with data standards Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or IT Professional experience in a related IT business role Proficiency in SQL queries (SQL Server/Oracle) Strong attention to detail and communication skills Experience in financial reporting and regulatory analysis Support data validation and reconciliation for remediation payments Knowledge of Core banking Systems (Temenos, T24) and XML data is advantageous but not essential Experience with gathering data requirements, documentation, and end-to-end testing Critical thinking and presentation skills Benefits we offer: Rabo@Anywhere: Hybrid working model with a blend of office and home Wellbeing leave: Extra leave days to support work/life balance Education Assistance Program: Support for professional development Parental Leave: Up to 14 weeks paid leave for primary carers Bonus and Extra Leave: Additional leave options and purchase options Extra Insurance: Employer-funded Death, TPD, and Income Protection Insurance Rabo Workplace Giving: Employee donation matching to social partners Our Values We value inclusion, belonging, and positive experiences.
