Reporting to the Manager, this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and offers great coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our business and its growth.Job ScopeAdministrative MattersTo complete/ update Client Tracker (where required)To set up Transfer Pricing (TP) files (where required)To prepare invoices (where required)To ensure proper filing of documents upon the completion of the relevant TP assignmentTo ensure that directors/ managers are kept fully informed of all client matters e.g. if a client calls you, document your conversation and circulate to the engagement team, or if a client e-mails you directly, forward this to the engagement teamTo arrange for despatch of documentsTo be familiar with the standard procedures for TP assignments (e.g. filing of documents, saving of documents in the server, etc.)TP Compliance and Advisory Assignments (including the preparation of Transfer Pricing Documentation (TPD), benchmarking reports, TP advice and TP audit assistance)To draft proposals and complete client acceptance formsTo prepare kick-off meeting slides and interview questionnaires (for the purpose of Functions, Assets & Risk (FAR) Analysis)To participate in the interviews and document information provided verbally by the interviewees during the interviews (interviews may be carried out in various locations within Malaysia and occasionally, in neighbouring countries)To conduct comparable searches for TP assignments, where necessary, and assist with the purchase of financial statementsTo draft and review TPD/ benchmarking report and perform the relevant research to complete the reportsTo draft TP advice and perform the relevant research to complete the adviceTo manage and ensure all due dates set internally and by the client are metTo discuss any issues with the engagement teamTo clear review points raised by Managing Consultants/ Directors (if any) and to discuss with the Managing Consultants/ Directors, if necessaryTo ensure all review points are cleared and to document important information (via email, internal memo, etc.) and to put this on fileTo ensure that the deliverables sent to the client for review are complete and in orderTrainingTo attend all training sessions and ensure that you are adequately prepared for trainingRevise training materials thoroughly and read up on the subject to develop your knowledgeQualifications/Education & Work ExperienceMinimum degree in Finance/ Accounting or Professional qualification (ACCA/ CIMA/ CPA/ CIA) or equivalent.At least 2-3 years of relevant working experienceHave a good understanding and knowledge of the following:TP provisions in the Income Tax Act 1967Malaysian TP GuidelinesOECD TP GuidelinesGlobal TP DevelopmentsClarification by the IRB and TP related issuesPersonal Skills / AttributesBasic computer skills Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointSupportive and cooperative team playerGood interpersonal skillsGood communication skills, both written and verbalProject a professional image including good personal groomingCandidate with 3-4 years of experience in taxation.Have a good understanding and knowledge of the following:Income capital, revenue, sources of income, etcDeductible ExpenditureTax Administration mattersWithholding TaxIncentivesWe are looking for someone with:Good command of English, both written and spoken.Intermediate to advanced knowledge on MS Office and Excel.Ability to work independentlyHas attention to details.Good time management and is a deadline drive personCompany Benefits:At our Malaysia office, we believe in putting our employees well-being first!
