Do you want to apply your business knowledge to make a real impact in the community?Council is offering an exciting opportunity for a Business Sustainability Undergraduate to join our team and help shape the future of local business sustainability practices.As a Business Sustainability Undergraduate, you will work closely with our Environment & Sustainability team to develop and implement strategies that promote eco-friendly business practices.Youll gain hands-on experience in driving sustainability initiatives within local businesses, helping them thrive in an environmentally conscious world.Reporting to the BBP Program Coordinator, your duties will include, but are not limited to:Assist in the execution of the BBP program under the guidance of the BBP Program CoordinatorConduct research and create content on business sustainability topicsAssist with the planning, coordination, and execution of business-focused eventsConduct demographic data research, data entry, and provide reports and analysis on membership basesManage and update databases, ensuring accurate records and analysisQualifications, skills & experienceCurrently enrolled in and/ or commencing the penultimate or final year of an undergraduate Environmental and Sustainability Management degreeCurrent Class C Drivers LicenceCompetent in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams)Strong communication, research, and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when requiredIf you''re ready to take the next step in your career and contribute to building a sustainable future for our community, we want to hear from you!* Salary for this position is as per the Award*Candidates must be enrolled in and studying the qualification for the duration of the employment term in order to be eligible*While the role is advertised as full-time, we may consider a part time arrangement (21 hours or 28 hours p/w) depending on business needs.
