As Clinical Trials Pharmacy Manager, youll take ownership of investigational product (IP) operations andstep into a pivotal leadership role, guiding a skilled team and ensuring best-in-class processes across a varied study portfolio. Youll also contribute at a strategic level, working cross-functionally to shape trial start-up, feasibility planning, and pharmacy workflow optimisation.This role is ideal for a pharmacist ready to blend hands-on clinical trial oversight with team leadership and business-aligned decision-making in a fast-growing environment.DutiesManage end-to-end investigational product (IP) operations: receipt, storage, dispensing, accountability, and destructionEnsure full compliance with GCP, pharmacy manuals, protocols, and regulatory standardsLead, support, and develop a multidisciplinary pharmacy teamImplement and continuously improve SOPs, workflows, and documentation processesOptimise pharmacy operations to enhance trial efficiency, throughput, and audit-readinessDrive process improvement initiatives, identify system enhancements, and champion best practicesCollaborate cross-functionally with clinical, feasibility, finance, and sponsor-facing teamsContribute pharmacy insights to trial feasibility, start-up planning, and operational strategyParticipate in audits, CAPA development, and internal quality reviewsSkills and ExperienceEssential:Registered Pharmacist with AHPRA3+ years clinical trial experience in a pharmacy role23 years general hospital or community pharmacy experienceProficient in Z-Dispense, nCoup, and electronic IP accountability systemsStrong understanding of GCP and clinical trial regulatory standardsHighly Desirable:Prior team leadership or pharmacy management experience (12 years)Hands-on experience with audits and CAPA documentationCompany CultureThis is a values-driven organisation where collaboration, continuous improvement, and participant care are at the heart of everything.
