We act for humanity.About the roleThe Senior Manager - Infrastructure & Operations leads a team of engineers across Azure IaaS/PaaS, M365/O365, Intune, hybrid AD, networks, telephony & video conferencing; delivering technical services to meet the requirements of the Australian Red Cross. The position is accountable for the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective technology infrastructure solutions to support Red Cross in achieving its business objectives.Travel may be required for the purposes of meeting with internal customers, vendors, third-party contractors, external suppliers, consultants, project meetings or management of team members. Extended hours may be required to meet business outcomes and provide support during the emergency season.What you will bringExperience maturing technical capabilities in cloud environments, implementing best practice processes and toolsExperience managing BAU activities and contributing to projects, coupled with a demonstrated ability to lead and direct staff, and manage internal & external stakeholdersAbility to negotiate, set and manage conflicting priorities and a changing environmentHigh level of interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingAbility to mentor, develop and grow a team covering multiple capabilitiesEssential Experience and Qualifications10 years of IT experience, at least 5 years in management of on-prem and cloud environments, and with at least 2 years in people leadership.Substantial experience in hands-on technical experience with M365, Azure (Preferably), and Networks.Comprehensive and strong Infrastructure background (Servers, Storage, Virtualisation).Experience with Endpoint Management solutions (preferably Intune, Mobile Device Manager).Telphony, VC & printing solutions exposureITIL and project management certificationsBenefits that act for you, while you act for humanityFinancial wellbeing: In addition to your salary, you can take advantage of salary packaging that could provide you with a great way to reduce the amount of tax you pay - and get more from your salary.
