Little Zaks Academy is looking for a passionate and dedicated Portfolio Director to oversee the operations of our services, ensuring excellence in education, compliance, and leadership.Little Zak''s Academy is privately owned and family run. We select our staff based on knowledge and values, vision for children and learning, and commitment to families.As a Portfolio Director , you will play a key role in ensuring the successful operation of multiple early childhood services. Your leadership will drive compliance, quality education, and a positive workplace culture. You will support Area Managers and Centre Directors while mentoring educators to deliver best-practice learning experiences.Your portfolio of services will cover multiple locations and may change over time.Provide leadership and operational support across multiple early childhood services.Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and all regulatory requirements.Support and mentor educators and leadership teams to achieve high-quality learning outcomes.Oversee service performance, including financial and administrative aspects.Lead a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in early childhood education.Act as Nominated Supervisor when required.About you:ADegree or Diplomain Early Childhood Education and Care (ACEQA approved).A minimum of3 years experienceas a Nominated Supervisor or5 years in a leadership rolewithin an early childhood setting.Strong knowledge ofearly childhood regulations, WHS legislation, and compliance requirements.Proven ability inteam leadership, curriculum development, and service operations.Experience managing budgets and ensuring financial viability.CurrentFirst Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma training.A validWorking with Children CheckandChild Protection Training.Benefits for you:Competitive remuneration with up to$2,000 annual bonus.50% staff childcare discountfor your own children.Apaid day off on your birthday& awell-being day(on top of your annual leave).$1,000 staff referral bonusfor every successful referral.Continuous career development opportunities andFuture Leaders Program.Study allowancesto upskill your qualification, including ECT degrees (T&Cs apply).Travel allowances(T&Cs apply).Mentoringfrom our values-driven Leadership Team and full support from a well-established Support Office.Access to anEmployee Assistance Program.We are dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of children by implementing a comprehensive screening and interview process, conducting thorough candidate reference checks, and other checks to foster a child-safe organisational culture.We are an equal opportunity workplace where diversity is embraced.
