The Housing Call Centre (HCC), based out of the Morwell GovHub, plays a key role in ensuring that public housing renters receive timely support for maintenance and housing needs.About the RoleDFFH are looking for trade-qualified candidates to join their call-centre team as Technical Authorisation Officers to handle queries from contractors who are carrying out maintenance works on public properties and community buildings. The ideal candidate will have a trade background and strong building knowledge and aptitude to handle these enquiries to ensure the appropriate maintenance processes are followed. This role is ideal for a qualified tradesperson ready to step off the tools and move into an office-based position, while still applying their practical trade knowledge in a professional environment.The role is classified as VPS4 with a salary range of $97,955 - $111,142 plus superannuation. its a fixed-term full-time position (38hr work week) until 31/12/2026, with an anticipated start of late August 2025.
