Our reasoned attitudes to safety, people, quality, industrial relations and the environment mean we deliver projects with resounding results.We are currently seeking an experienced WHS Coordinator to support a wide range of rail, road, and civil infrastructure projects across the business. This is a permanent position based at our Head Office in Auburn, with expected geographical mobility around the Sydney Region to provide operational support onsite. The role involves delivering WHS service and assurance to project and corporate teams for both rail and civil aspects.Key responsibilities include monitoring and assisting with the implementation of the Integrated Management System, providing specialist WHS advice, and influencing positive behaviors across civil and rail projects. Experience working with clients like ARTC, Transport for NSW, Sydney Trains, and RMS is preferred.Minimum Requirements:Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety (or equivalent)Rail Industry Worker CompetentExperience with incident investigation (ideally ICAM)High skill level in WHS requirements in the Rail environmentExperience with Rail Safety Accreditation and interface AgreementsExtensive civil construction experienceExcellent stakeholder management skillsCurrent Drivers LicenseConstruction Induction Training (White Card)Subcontractor management experienceExperience maintaining systems per AS4801 and ONRSRConflict resolution skillsCompetent in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPointProblem-solving and decision-making in high-stress environmentsAbility to influence at all organizational levelsLegislation and standards interpretation skillsClient management and engagement skillsExperience liaising with Rail regulatorsWillingness to work weekends and be on callExperience influencing WHS behaviors organization-widePreferred Qualifications:Lead Auditor Qualification (WHS Management Systems)Risk Management Qualifications/ExperienceExperience developing Rail Safety Management PlansAuthorized Drug & Alcohol Tester under ONRSRCertificate IV in Training and AssessingThis is a mid-senior level, temporary role in the Civil Engineering industry.
