Over our 30-year history we have developed a team of highly skilled technicians and have a continued focus on staying up to date with the latest technology.As Parts Advisor you will provide critical parts support to our service operations, supporting our technicians and our customers. To succeed in the role you must be energetic, highly organized, hardworking and thrive in a team environment.What to expectOur parts portfolio covers a broad range of marine engine, transmission and running gear. Parts are sourced from Volvo Penta and Yanmar OEM networks, along with other large suppliers.Due to the highly customized nature of the marine industry, there are often custom parts required, which requires creative problem solving to source the components on a schedule that solves for our customers.What youll doSource parts and allocate them to service jobs and customer ordersMonitor inventory within the parts system, communicate parts updates and availability with the service team and customers.Systematically receive, inspect, and put away stock and special-order partsIdentify process issues/opportunities and give feedback that will contribute to future improvementsPick up and transport parts using company vehicles, or engaging third parties when necessaryOrganize information and reports for the service team and general managerProcess orders, invoices and paymentsWhat youll bringExcellent teamworking skills and ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with both the internal team and customers.A detail oriented, quality mindset and proactive work ethicStrong written and verbal communication skills.Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlinesAbility to perform repetitious duties at times, including some lifting, packing, bending and standingKnowledge of the marine industry and boat parts, or automotive/heavy equipment parts is an advantagePrior experience sourcing or warehousing parts is an advantage.Current Australian driver license is an advantageWhat We OfferGreat career growth opportunities, from apprenticeship to qualified professionalWork on the latest high-end marine technologyOn the job training and mentorship from experienced techniciansCertified training in OEM systemsSupportive team culturePaid attendance at industry events #J-18808-Ljbffr
