Job Description

The Point Preschool is seeking an organised, proactive, and confident Administration Assistant to join our small and dedicated team. The role is part-time - 15hrs per week over three days. It offers an opportunity to improve and streamline systems at a community preschool with a newly elected parent management committee. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the role and help build effective workflows. About the role Working closely with the Co-Directors and the Management Committee, you will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks including: Key responsibilities include: Managing enrolments and maintaining records using HubHello Coordinating communication with families Preparing class lists, enrolment offers, and orientation packs Overseeing staff timesheets, records, and payroll processing Liaising with the bookkeeper and treasurer Assisting with audits, budgets, and government reporting (BAS, DET Census, ECCMS) Maintaining staff and child records Ordering supplies and processing payments Supporting onboarding and compliance documentation for new committee members Refining and implementing systems to improve efficiency What were looking for Excellent organisational and time-management skills Strong written and verbal communication Confidence with Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams Ability to work independently and proactively Willingness to take initiative and improve systems Experience in early childhood admin or HubHello is a bonus Current Working With Children Check and Police Check How to apply Please send a cover letter addressing the essential criteria and your resume to: Contact: Secretary - The Point Preschool Email: secretary@thepointpreschool.com.au Applications close: 9 June 2025 #J-18808-Ljbffr
