We are currently seeking a passionate and creative Activities Officer to join our team and help design and deliver inclusive activities that enrich the lives of the people we support.About the Role: As the Activities Officer, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and facilitating engaging, accessible programs and activities that promote social inclusion, independence, wellbeing, and skill development for individuals with disabilities. This role involves working closely with participants, families, and support staff to ensure all activities are meaningful and tailored to individual goals and interests.Key Responsibilities:Plan and facilitate a variety of group and individual activities, including recreational, social, creative, educational, and life-skills programs.Collaborate with participants to co-design inclusive programs based on their preferences, abilities, and NDIS goals.Ensure activities are safe, inclusive, and adaptable to meet the diverse needs of participants.Support participants to engage in community-based events and excursions.Monitor and document participation, progress, and feedback.Liaise with families, carers, support workers, and other stakeholders.Assist with administrative tasks related to program delivery and reporting.About You: You are energetic, compassionate, and genuinely enjoy working with people.
