An exciting opportunity is available for a qualified candidate to join the Quality & Clinical Governance team at Portland District Health. The Manager, Quality and Safety, is responsible for: Overseeing Portland District Healths operational quality and safety systems in line with accreditation standards, Victorian Government Clinical Governance Framework, and partnering in healthcare frameworks. Designing and maintaining quality and safety systems organization-wide. Overseeing clinical events and conducting event reviews as required. Providing advice to the Director on quality and safety matters. Qualifications & Experience Registrable qualifications by Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or tertiary qualifications in health administration, business administration, or public policy. Profound knowledge of rural healthcare challenges. At least three years experience in public health quality and safety or related fields. Knowledge of National Safety and Quality Standards and Aged Care Standards. Experience with organization-wide accreditation activities and clinical governance processes.
