Established in Central Queensland in 2013, the Champ Group has evolved to partner with key stakeholders in government, mining, manufacturing, and construction to provide a comprehensive service offering across Australia.About The OpportunityOur client is a large independent mining manufacturing company seeking to employ an Administration/Payroll Officer.To be considered for this position, candidates should demonstrate the following skills and experience:Aptitude for analysing and interpreting data, identifying trends, and anticipating potential issues with a commercial impact.Skills in data entry, maintaining databases, and generating reports.Experience with JAQ/MYOB or similar financial management systems.Interpersonal and verbal communication skills liaising with employees at all levels.Written communication skills preparing financial and management reports, developing procedures and guidelines.Internal customer service skills assisting management in billing processes.Intermediate computer skills primarily Word and Excel.Excellent time management and organisation skills.High attention to detail.Exposure to statutory reporting (payroll tax, superannuation, group tax, etc.) and relevant legislation.Ability to handle confidential information.Ability to work as part of a team.About YouHold Certificate II or III in Business or have graduated from Business college (desirable).Tertiary qualifications in Accounting and/or Business (desirable).Strong aptitude for figures, accuracy, and problem solving.Data entry skills with high accuracy.Payroll experience (any system) of at least 2 years or 3 years in finance/accounting roles.Leadership skills.If this sounds like you and you''re ready for the challenge, please apply today.For further information, call ************.
