Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Tourism and Economic Development Coordinator plays a vital role in leading and coordinating the Council''s economic development plans as well as managing the tourism functions for the Shire. About you You are motivated with a can-do attitude. You have contemporary experience in a similar role and are committed to ongoing professional development. Experience in tourism, event management, retail operations, social media, and promotional marketing is preferred. Skills in customer service, public relations, problem-solving, and multi-tasking are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, website content management, and social media platforms. Current Class C Driver''s License and RSA certification. You demonstrate a collaborative approach and a commitment to excellent service. Exceptional interpersonal skills to negotiate and achieve win-win outcomes. The Benefits Based in Crookwell, with regional employer status. Flexible work up to 70 hours per fortnight. Attractive salary and leave entitlements, with a salary range of $1,707.18 to $1,931.00 per week plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience. This position is classified as Grade 14 under the Council''s Salary System and the Local Government (State) Award 2023.
