About The Organisation & RoleWith almost 1000 people across the globe, this organisation is trusted by its clients to manage and grow their investments with a focus on expert insight, active decision-making, and responsible investment principles.This position offers hybrid working (3:2), flexible working hours to accommodate for global time zones, and a tight-knit group of P&C teammates based in modern office facilities in Sydney CBD.This role presents an Employment Relations Specialist or Manager the chance to create strategy & leave a legacy. This is more of a strategic role, and less of a doing role, allowing you creative freedom and ownership. This is a rare role in the Sydney market offering a career defining project and achievement you can be proud of. You will work in a People & Culture team of 35, and be responsible for enhancing existing policies, processes and reporting but ultimately define the organisations global employment relations strategy.Your role will like thisReconstructing the global ER strategy and framework including policy design, templates, escalation pathways and decision-making structures;Creating risk-based and trauma-informed investigation models and reporting protocols;Establish a case taskforce for managing the potential impact of serious employee relations matters, with clear roles and responsibilities for P&C, Legal, Risk, IT, Communications, Senior Executives, and other roles across the regions;Designing training and resources to uplift ER capability across the P&C function and broader organisation and embed a speak-up culture through systems, education and cultural assessments;Enhancing psychological safety through Respect at Work training, embedding a trauma-informed approach, with clear guidance on technical aspects an obligations; andLeading the resolution of complex and high-impact ER matters in alignment with the organisations values and global governance standards.About YouYou enjoy tackling complex problems and bringing structure to ambiguity;Extensive experience in designing and implementing global employee relations frameworks, policies, processes, resources, reporting and oversight models;Strong project and process management capability and ability to identify patterns and trends to implement appropriate actions;Tertiary qualifications in human resources, employment relations, employment law or related business discipline; andDemonstrated experience managing and resolving complex employment relations matters within a global matrixed and regulated environment, preferably within asset management or financial services.How to ApplyFor more information or a confidential discussion please call Haylea Smith at u&u on 0411 666 265 quoting reference number 41778.At u&u Recruitment Partners, we value diversity, equity and inclusion.
