Position Highlights The successful applicant will join the school with a focus on providing quality Catholic education, maximising student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum that is student centred, flexible and challenging. This full-time role is scheduled to commence Term 1, 27 January 2026 . The Mathematics Coordinator (2 point) is a promotional leadership role, temporary for up to 3 years (as per all coordinator roles in Sydney Catholic Schools), however, your classroom teaching position (1 FTE) will be full-time and permanent. Your promotional role will entail release time and will be to model classroom practitioner excellence, improve learning outcomes and bring about change in the instruction of teachers 7-12. About You As a Mathematics Coordinator (2 point) , you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy. To excel in this role, you will be able to: create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students. demonstrate sound knowledge and qualifications in developing a 7-12 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives, providing constructive feedback and improving student outcomes lead improvement, change and professional development of the Mathematics team support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students ensure curriculum compliance for Mathematics communicate effectively and work collaboratively with all stakeholders demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences. You will have attained: a tertiary qualification in Education eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
