Your day as an Associate DirectorTheWomens Economic Outcomes Teamat Treasury NSW has been instrumental in embedding gender equality and economic empowerment across the state. Current work includes implementing a range of gender responsive budgeting tools and practices to ensure gender equality considerations are embedded into government decision-making and resource allocation processes. Innovative policy development and targeted initiatives, include supporting the role out of theGender Impact Assessment Policy, which requires agencies to consider how a proposed policy, program or project may have different impacts on people based on their gender; this includes women, men and gender diverse people.The team is friendly and supportive, with a culture in which diversity, wellbeing and flexible working are highly valued.
