Add expected salary to your profile for insights.A position at Phocas is an opportunity to be a part of something unique.Its a place where youre celebrated for the value you add, and supported to do what makes you happy.As a Financial Accountant, to join our Revenue & Sales Finance team, youll be at the heart of keeping this awesome operation ticking over with amazing accuracy and efficiency, across four countries and our team of 300 world-class humans.Take responsibility for the accurate and timely billing and revenue recognition, business partnering, analysis, reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations supporting our UK revenue and sales financial operations.Heres how youll do thatManage customer contracts and maintain accurate and timely billing recordsPartner with the relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless, efficient, and accurate revenue management, billing, and business insightsMonitor aged receivables in collaboration with the Credit ControllerPerform balance sheet reconciliations related to revenue and accounts receivableAssess and improve internal processes, support system enhancements, and document new procedures to boost workflow efficiencyAssist with the year-end audit processThis is what youll need to do it3+ years of accounting experience, ideally with SaaS industry exposureCommenced CA or CPA studies (or completed) and completed a Bachelor of Accounting, Business or Commerce degreeProven knowledge and application of accounting principles and practicesPrior experience in ERP software (Sage Intacct is ideal) and advanced Excel skillsAttention to detail with ability to prioritize and multi-taskFlexibility to support the UK team with some evening/morning calls and the ability to balance your working hours knowing you have those UK dependenciesThis is a 12-month fixed-term parental leave cover role to commence ASAP.A bit about us, in the hope youll quit whatever youre doing and join us.Were a business planning and analytics company on a mission to make people feel good about data.
