Minara Resources has an opportunity for an experienced Mine Planning Engineer to join their team.Minara Resources is Australias largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. Glencore employs over 145,000 people operates around 150 operating mining and processing sites, oil production assets and agricultural facilities in over 35 countries.The RoleThe successful candidate will become part of a proactive and committed team who are responsible for the provision of mine design and production scheduling services over the short- to medium-term planning horizon.You will be responsible for:Provision of mine designs and schedules to satisfy business requirements over the short- to medium-term planning horizons;Monitoring of ore blending requirements;Reconciliation and delivery of mine performance and rolling schedules;Mining production field guidance; andAdding value through continuous process improvement.About YouThis role would suit a tertiary qualified Mining Engineer with an understanding of and exposure to a mining production environment and who is looking to gain exposure to mine planning.
