Roy Hill is seeking an experiencedShutdown Supervisorfor itsMobile Maintenancedepartment to lead our shutdown crews, ensuring all mobile equipment is maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency.Reporting to theMaintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for playing a key role in planning, executing, and closing out shutdowns, driving a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.Apply nowto bring your leadership, technical expertise, and shutdown experience to a high-performing team.Duties:Lead and supervise shutdown maintenance activities for mobile plant and equipmentEnsure compliance with OEM specifications and Roy Hill proceduresCoordinate and allocate resources to meet shutdown schedules and targetsConduct pre-shutdown planning, risk assessments, and post-shutdown reviewsDrive a high-performance culture, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities for your teamLiaise with internal stakeholders and contractors to ensure seamless execution of shutdownsMonitor and report on shutdown progress, addressing issues to minimise downtime and costsEnsure accurate completion of documentation, including work orders and safety reportsSkills and Experience:Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (or equivalent highly regarded)Strong experience leading large work crews in shutdowns within the mining sectorProven experience on heavy mobile equipment (e.g. Hitachi/Liebherr Excavators, Caterpillar Dozers and Pit Viper 271 Drills)Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skillsCommitted to safety, quality, and continuous improvementExperience using SAP or a similar CMMS (desirable)Mine Site Facilities:Modern, comfortable camp accommodationHigh quality gourmet food options (vegan, gluten free and healthy options)Large fully equipped gym facility, as well as a gym specifically for femalesHeated outdoor swimming poolBeach Volleyball court and Golf simulatorsVillage shop and extensive supporting amenitiesSWIFT in-room entertainment with comprehensive content and own-device casting capabilityActive social club with community events and activities for employeesLifestyle, Learning and Recreation initiative which provide events for your familyAbout the Company:Roy Hill is a world class mining company, leading the way through innovative, integrated mining rail and port operations, to export iron ore safely and efficiently from West Australias Pilbara region.We are a company where people matter.
