You''ll have the opportunity to find solutions to chytrid infection in threatened frogs as well as contribute to genetic biocontrol for invasive species. This role offers you the chance to work on the innovative molecular biology techniques, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to high-impact publications in a supportive academic environment.Your responsibilities will include:Conduct Innovative Research: Design and perform experiments in molecular biology, protein biochemistry, cell biology, and gene editing, focusing on amphibian systems.Manage Collaborative Projects: Lead and participate in team projects, overseeing experimental design, data analysis, and manuscript preparation.Contribute to Academic Output: Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present results at meetings and conferences.Supervise and Mentor: Guide students and technical staff, contributing to their training and development in the field.You may be a great fit if:You are a skilled researcher with a PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, or a related field, possessing a strong publication record and the ability to conduct independent research in non-model animal systems, particularly amphibians.
