Hit the ground running on a range of solar, wind, and BESS projectsCollaborate with a team of passionate industry professionalsDevelop and implement fit-for-purpose comms and engagement strategiesPhillip Riley is delighted to partner with an international, multi-technology developer in its search for a Community & Stakeholder Manager to assist in the design and implementation of effective community and stakeholder engagement initiatives. This role works across solar, wind, and BESS projects in the NEM and WEM, from project development through to construction and operations.This role is well-suited to experienced communications and engagement professionals who can drive straight in and get their hands dirty. The position is based out of the Melbourne Office (plus travel to project sites) and reports to the Director of Development.About the jobDevelop and implement community and stakeholder engagement programs across a national portfolio of projects;Map community groups, individuals, and government agencies for individual projects;Actively lead and regularly engage with neighbours, local communities and other stakeholders to build and maintain effective relationships;Work with First Nations representatives to identify opportunities for indigenous engagement and participation;Coordinate community meetings, events, and stakeholder briefings;Liaise with internal and external resources to produce high quality content for work notifications, newsletters, media releases, briefings, web content, and external/internal stakeholder management reports;Respond to enquiries, complaints and requests for information;Prepare and present progress reports to senior management;Assist in the development and implementation of community benefit sharing programs;Regularly travel to national project sites.About youQualifications in communications, engagement or similar (or demonstrable industry experience);Strong track record in community relations or stakeholder engagement in energy infrastructure projects;Demonstrable knowledge of the renewable energy industry, policy and regulations, and a good understanding of the development process for renewable energy;Self-starter with a can-do attitude and hands-on accountability for work streams;Strong interpersonal skills, a good networker, and a good negotiator with external stakeholders;Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills;Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with CRM software (preferred);Valid Drivers Licence.How to applyPlease "Apply Now" to submit a copy of your updated resume.If you require more information or would like a confidential conversation about the role, please contact Olivia on oliviab@phillipriley.com.au or (03) 8521 7454.The Phillip Riley Group respect and recognise the value of equal employment opportunities and are committed to promoting fairness, equality and diversity.
