These duties involve direct contact with clients at Legal Aid WA offices, courts, prisons, detention centres and hospitals.The available positions are well suited to both entry level and experienced solicitors and present challenging but rewarding opportunities for personal and professional development.Were looking to recruit solicitors whose values align with those of Legal Aid WA in particular, respect, being client-centred, and making a difference to the lives of people experiencing disadvantage. Clients can present with drug and alcohol issues, mental health issues, or in distress, so the communication skills to manage these situations are required.
