Employment Type: Permanent Full Time, 38 hours per weekLocation: Bolger Street, CampbelltownPosition Classification: Health Manager Level 3Remuneration: $127,150.00 - $144.444.00 per annumRequisition ID: REQ582581Application Close Date: 29/06/2025Interview Date Range: 02/07/2025 09/07/2025Contact Details: Katie Barham 0477 746 628 | Katie.Barham@health.nsw.gov.auAbout The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity exists to join South Western Sydney Local Health as the Disability and NDIS Coordinator.As The Disability And NDIS Coordinator, You WillDevelop and implement effective, efficient and sustainable initiatives to maximise the benefits to SWSLHD consumers eligible to access NDIS supports.Develop and establish collaborative relationships across the district, both internal and external, to facilitate the flow of information and systems that establish responsibilities, monitor and evaluate outcomes.Undertake duties and reporting requirements associated with the NDIS.Implement and evaluate the SWSLHD Disability and Carers Action Plan and associated disability inclusion strategies, together with the SWSLHD Carers Program and the Specialist Intellectual Disability Health team.What You''ll Be DoingDevelop and implement effective, efficient and sustainable initiatives to maximize the benefits of SWSLHD patients/ consumers eligible to access NDIS.Develop and establish collaborative relationships across the district, internal and external, to facilitate the flow of information and systems that establish responsibilities, monitor and evaluate outcomes.Undertake duties and reporting requirements associated NDIS.Provide guidance, leadership and advice to services on matters relating to consumers accessing the NDIS.Lead the strategic planning, implementation and evaluation of NDIS initiatives locally, and contribute to similar work undertaken by the Ministry of Health.Implement and evaluate the SWSLHD Disability and Carers Action Plan and associated disability inclusion strategies, together with the SWSLHD Carers Program and the Specialist Disability Health Team.Where You''ll Be WorkingSouth Western Sydney is rapidly growing and is a great place for young people and families to build a life. View our application guide for information on how to respond to criteria and improve your application.Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme and impact of this on SWSLHD and understanding of a range of LHD services involved in disability.Previous service planning, managerial experience and leadership responsibilities.Demonstrated high level proficiency in project management and in leading change management processes.Demonstrated experience of effective negotiation and communication skills with senior personnel.Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver''s license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
