We are looking for a reliable and experienced Office Administrator to handle a wide range of administrative and financial tasks. This position is well-suited to a mature individual with prior office experience, who thrives in a structured environment and has a strong attention to detail.The successful candidate will be responsible for reception duties, managing emails, handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling in Xero, banking, processing credit applications and PPSR registrations.Key Responsibilities:Reception & Communication:Greet visitors and manage incoming phone calls with professionalism.Monitor and respond to emails in a timely and efficient manner.Accounts Payable & Receivable:Process supplier invoices, payments, and staff reimbursements.Issue customer invoices and follow up on outstanding accounts; ensuring timely payments and collections.Maintain accurate records.Reconcile bank transactions and accounts in Xero.Assist with month-end reporting and preparation of financial data.Banking:Handle daily banking, including deposits and bank reconciliations.Credit Applications & PPSR:Manage credit application process for customersRegister and update entries on the Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR).General Administration:Maintain and organise office filing systems (digital and paper-based).Order and manage office supplies and ensure the workspace is tidy and efficient.Key Skills & Experience:Prior office administration experience is essential (minimum 23 years preferred).Strong skills in Xero and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).Experience in accounts payable/receivable and general bookkeeping.Familiarity with credit procedures and PPSR registrations is an advantage.Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills.Professional, reliable and able to work both independently and in a team environment.About Us Damtec Australasia Pty LtdDamtec Australasia Pty Ltd is part of a leading international group specialising in the supply of high-quality impact sound reduction products.
