We''re looking for a Finance Manager who wants to be part of this exciting journey and help shape the future of our business.The RoleWere seeking a dynamic and hands-on Finance Manager to join our commercial team and support the next phase of our growth. This newly created role will play a key part in enhancing the financial capability of our business while freeing up senior leaders to focus on their core responsibilities.Working closely with the National Commercial Director, the Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, support strategic planning, and ensure systems and controls are running smoothly across our Australian teams.This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and making a real impact.What Youll Be DoingOversee all financial systems, transactions, and reporting processes across all Innovis Australian locations.Managing end-of-month close, reconciliations, BAS, GST, PAYG and payroll processesMaintaining and improving cashflow models and financial reports for board reviewOverseeing accounts receivable and payable processes, including payment reconciliationsEnsuring financial compliance, documentation, and internal controls are up to dateIdentifying and implementing system/process improvements and automation opportunitiesLiaising with external accountants and payroll providers across AustraliaContributing to dashboard reporting, KPIs and strategic planning insightsSupporting budgeting and rolling forecast processes alongside the National Commercial DirectorAssist with rollout of new ERP systemSupporting project leads to use our ERP platform to monitor project financialsMentoring junior finance/admin staff and reviewing their workWhat Were Looking ForCA/CPA qualified (or working towards)At least 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting leadership roleStrong knowledge of Australian tax, payroll, and compliance obligationsExperience with project-based businesses, ideally in professional services or consultingHigh proficiency in Xero or similar accounting platformsFamiliarity with financial/project management systems like Total Synergy or Deltek Vantagepoint (desirable)Proficiency with Power BI system or similar (desirable)Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solution-focused mindsetA proactive, systems-oriented thinker who enjoys improving how things workWhy Join Innovis?Be part of a growing, values-driven consultancy with big plans and strong leadershipWork with genuine people who care about what they do and how they do itFlexible working arrangements and supportive cultureCareer development opportunities as the business scalesThe chance to shape systems and processes that underpin business successReady to Make an Impact?If youre ready to bring your expertise to a high-performing, people-focused team, wed love to hear from you.
