In this role, you will be responsible for training staff, HACCP record keeping, daily kitchen operations, managing kitchen cleanliness, preparing dishes, covering call offs, and supervising staff. The Chef Manager will report and work directly with the senior executive chef of the unit.This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule that will include some day and evening shifts. Typical shift will be 11am-9pm, one weekend per month and one holiday per calendar year.What You''ll DoJob responsibilities include but are not limited to:Train, coach, schedule, and hire cooks in multiple cook positions.Ensures efficient and timely service of food orders.Directly manage patient service cooksAbility to collaborate with a team of chefs to accomplish aligned goals.Ensuring Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality are met.Maintaining and ensuring HACCP standards.Maintain cleaning schedules in kitchen.Collaborating directly with patients regarding food requests.Minor administration tasks.What We OfferCompensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate''s education level or years of relevant experience.
