Youre looking for personal development and career advancement opportunities.Contributing to an enviable culture and being part of a team that is friendly, supportive, and inclusive is the environment for you.Joining the Komatsu team as a qualified Service Technician means well be offering you:An organisation that practices and promotes diversity & inclusion.Lifestyle roster 7/7.Opportunity to work on all new mining equipmentComfortable accommodation only 40 mins drive to siteJob stability.Attractive salary package with car, roster allowance and bonuses.Ongoing training and career development.Key responsibilities:Provide customers with pro-active advice and support, increasing equipment performance and productivity.Facilitate Flawless Start-up plans in line with global policy.Develop and standardize equipment and system commissioning plans.Provide advanced technical support for equipment in the field.Coordinate new product field trials and document results including any opportunities for product enhancement.Collate field data and evidence for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities for major failures and unresolved reliability issues.Engage with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to offer solutions for customer needs.Qualifications/Requirements:Demonstrated commitment to safety.Electrical Trade.Experience in mining manufacturing and engineering or in a similar heavy engineering environment with an emphasis on field applications.Exposure to mining systems and applications.Experience in new product introduction for mining systems or heavy mobile machinery.Working knowledge of mining system planning and operation at a mine site.Intimate knowledge of field engineering problem identification and resolution processes.Detailed knowledge of appropriate Australian Standards, Mines Department regulations and Hazardous Area Standards.Ability to purchase up to 10 additional annual leave days per annum.12 weeks paid primary carer parental leave.Discounts on Apple, Dell, Lenovo and Microsoft productsAccess to discounts at over 400 different retailers Australia wide.Employee Referral Program offering a bonus of $3,000 if you successfully refer someone for a role.Discounted corporate rates with HCF and a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program with total wellbeing solution provider Hunterlink.Discounts with Toyota & Orix.Komatsu is an Equal Opportunity Workplace and an Affirmative Action Employer.
