An important component of its continuous growth is the activation of service improvement and research projects. With strong affiliations with Monash University, the Unit has a growing portfolio of clinical and translational projects led by senior MONC clinicians across a wide range of tumour types.The RoleThe ACRF Centre for Dynamic Immuno-oncology (ACRF-CDIO), one of the newly funded projects at MONC, is an emerging national hub of research excellence in immuno-oncology discovery and translation, housing flagship technology such as the Biograph Vision Quadra.Supported by the Directors of ACRF-CDIO and Head of Unit, the ACRF-CDIO Project Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the successful planning, coordination, and establishment of the ACRF-CDIO and its associated sub-projects.Qualifications And Experience RequiredTertiary degree in a related field, and/or equivalent experience in translational cancer researchFamiliarity in various research setup processes, including budgeting, ethics submission, and research contract drafting and executionExperience in establishing and/ or facilitating research collaborationsFamiliarity with grant funding application and research governance processesFamiliarity with the ethical and legal requirements of research activities involving human biospecimens, imaging data, and clinical metadataDemonstrated experience in facilitating fundraising and philanthropic activities or the desire to develop such experienceProven ability to prioritise and manage demanding work commitments and deadlines autonomouslyExceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and quality of documentationSolid presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skillsStaff BenefitsSalary packaging & novated leasing through MaxxiaFlexible health insurance coverage through HCF Health InsuranceOnsite car & bike parking opportunities, deducted pre-tax!!Fantastic onsite fitness facilities at The Alfred through ProSport health and fitnessChildcare services at The Alfred managed by KU Childrens ServicesFor enquiries regarding this position, please contact Mark Shackleton, Director Medical Oncology - M.Shackleton@alfred.org.auApplications close 11pm AEST, Monday 7th July 2025.Alfred Health is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to attracting and retaining a diverse workforce that reflects the community we serve.
