The Learning Design and Change Manager will be responsible for learning design within Whitehaven Coal. This role sets the minimum requirements in terms of digital learning design and authoring, ensuring best practice adult learning principles and inclusive design.This role oversees the digital learning authoring tools and licenses within the organization. Responsible for designing and maintaining and group digital learning, including mandatory training. Sets the governance framework for learning. Drives change management practices across WHC. This role designs the collateral and tools to support the business in leading change initiativesWhat Youll DoSome of the key responsibilities of this role include:Owning the digital learning design principles for WHC, aligning to brand guidelines and ensuring delivery through available systemsDesigning and delivering the learning governance framework to set minimum standards for all learning design across WHCDesigning and updating (as necessary) the mandatory suite of onboarding learningReporting and analytics of all mandatory training rollouts / campaigns, tracking learner experience and feedbackDesigning learner centric materials and collateral, ensuring inclusive design principles are incorporated, and delivery limitations for site-based learners are addressedSupporting the business with best practice change management approaches, providing guidance and support with relevant tools and practices to drive adoption of any initiativeDesigning and delivering change communications and training collateral to support ad hoc initiatives and operational excellenceWhat Youll BringChange Management accreditationExtensive experience in learning design and authoring (min 10yrs)Extensive experience in inclusive digital learning design, aligning to CFID principlesExtensive experience managing change in an operational setting, working with multiple stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignmentStrong experience in designing multi-modal learning assets, across multiple authoring tools and systemsWhy Whitehaven Coal?Career development, mentorship and coachingFlexible work optionsAttractive remuneration package26 weeks paid parental leaveWhitehaven Coal is committed to increasing the representation of women and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the workplace.
