This is more than a job, its a chance to make a real difference.The RoleYoull take charge of your client matters from start to finish, managing files independently while always having the support and advice from our experienced team when needed. You will be required to:Run defended hearings, sentences and bail applications with a high degree of attention to detailAutonomously take over client files and handle all aspects of the matter from beginning to endTake carriage of various types of matters including summary, traffic, indictable and complex trial matters.Prepare written submissions and various other documents throughout the course of the matterLiaise with clients, the Court and Counsel to deliver outstanding outcomesNegotiate with Prosecution where appropriateOpportunity to develop and learn while working with Accredited SpecialistAbout YouYoure a driven criminal defence lawyer with 3 years PAE, who thrives on variety, challenge, and autonomy.
