You''ll champion volunteer voices, ensure compliance, and build systems that help our volunteers thrive.As this is a newly created team, you will initially be required to roll up your sleeves and take a hands-on approach while we grow the capacity of this function. A fair portion of the role therefore will be dedicated to reviewing Volunteer Application forms, conducting volunteer interviews, following up reference checks and supporting volunteers to move through our recruitment processes.Other responsibilities of the role, which will grow proportionally with the capacity within the team, include:Overseeing the implementation of volunteer recruitment and on-boarding processesDeveloping and contributing to volunteer acquisition assets and marcommsLeading volunteer recognition and communications activitiesManaging volunteer-related data and compliance systemsSupporting the volunteer experience team and other staff to deliver exceptional volunteer experiencesLocation:Flexible within the greater Sydney area (work from home), with a requirement to travel to Sydney CBD at least once a month.Equipment requirements:Laptop, phone and printer will be supplied, however a safe home office set-up is required. Unrestricted drivers licence and own fully insured vehicle required (noting allowances are payable for work related travel).Travel Requirements:While there will be limited travel as part of the role, in future years there may be necessity to travel around Sydney, or to other regions/states, a few times a year.Hours:Permanent full-time 37.5hrs a week.Remuneration:$95,000 + super + salary packaging available.
