The Prosthetic Department is committed to providing the best care to patients whilst always ensuring the professionalism of our department. A high-quality patient focussed prosthetic service is maintained by staff working together as a team, pursuing current best practice, continuing professional development, linking with universities and peers and providing education to clients and other health providers.The RoleThe Prosthetic Technician Grade 2 or 3 will have a high technical case load supporting the department with custom made prostheses, including fabrication and customisation. Working within the Prosthetic Department team to achieve effective service delivery. The Prosthetic Technical Officer Grade 3 will lead in department OH&S, quality improvement and participate in research initiatives. The role will include eligibility for election as the department Health & Safety Representative.
