As a Qualified Carpenter, you will play a key role in the construction and fit-out of commercial and residential projects, working collaboratively with our skilled tradespeople. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects within the local area.What you''ll be doingReading and interpreting building plans, drawings and specificationsUndertaking all carpentry tasks required for the construction and fit-out of projectsConstructing, assembling and installing timber frames, walls, floors, roofs, stairs and other structural componentsRepairing and maintaining existing timber structures and fixturesEnsuring all work is completed to the highest standard.Adhering to all workplace health and safety policies and proceduresWhat we''re looking forMinimum 3-5 years'' experience as a qualified Carpenter, preferably within the residential homes space.Strong working knowledge of construction techniques, materials, tools and equipmentAbility to read and interpret construction plans, drawings and specificationsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanshipEffective communication and teamwork skillsCurrent driver''s licence and reliable transportWhat we offerAt H.L.W Projects, we are committed to providing a supportive and collaborative work environment that values the contributions of our skilled tradespeople.
