Applications are now open for Zinfras 2026 Apprentice and Trainee Program!Be part of Australias dynamic and evolving energy future and energise your career with hands-on experience, professional development, and nationally recognised qualifications.The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Cable Jointer to undertake a Certificate III in ESI Distribution Underground over a four-year program which will enable you to obtain industry skills and knowledge under the supervision of qualified and experienced professionals, while also attending TAFE to complete your certification.The location for this apprenticeship will be based at Tullamarine.During the program, you will be a valued member of our team and will participate in workplace and worksite rotations, experiencing a variety of work environments within the electricity supply industry which will enhance your skills and career development opportunities.What Youll Be DoingInstalling, jointing and termination of underground HV/LV power cables, telecommunications cables and associated civil activitiesAdhere to Company Policies, Quality Systems and Health, Safety and EnvironmentalProcedures as well as statutory requirementsEmergency response on customer distribution, sub-transmission cable assetsWhat Were Looking ForThis is an exciting time for our industry and we would love to be able to share this journey with someone who is committed and eager to learn.
