This position is ideal for a Medical Practitioner (FRACGP or Non VR GP) seeking flexible, low-pressure work focused on veterans'' health.Contracted Position$200 per hourOpen to non-VR GPs with relevant experience or FRACGP-qualified doctorsApprox. 2 full days per week (with the option to increase days and take on additional work as you progress)Remote-style work with flexibility short, scheduled calls within business hoursYour Role Will IncludeScript Requests: Completing structured repeat prescription requests for patients enrolled in our Coordinated Veterans Care (CVC) Program. All requests come with a detailed outline and relevant clinical context for review.RPBS Approvals: Contacting the Department of Veterans'' Affairs (DVA) to obtain approvals for RPBS-covered medications. This is typically done at the beginning or end of the day, every 23 days.Brief, check-in-style phone consults with patients for these scripts. These are not time-pressured and can be conducted flexibly during business hours.
