The Centre was launched in November 2024 and aims to brings together researchers with the local community and businesses, students, Indigenous groups, industry and government to develop, test and showcase wholistic solutions for both nature and human health and wellbeing. Integrating research and innovation that incorporates Indigenous partnerships and perspectives, the Centre is working to find novel solutions for repairing biodiversity, adapting to climate change and supporting local communities.The Centres current projects are embedded within a unique Urban Living Laboratory that aims to enhance nature within the social and built environment of a city. The Urban Living Lab is centred on the Wallumattagal campus at Macquarie University, with connections to the adjacent Lane Cove National Park, surrounding green network and waterways and the Macquarie Park Innovation District.About the roleThis is a 12-month part-time (0.6FTE) position.You will be based in the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
