Your responsibilities will include:Selecting power distribution and control system equipment and providing required data for detailed design drawingsDeveloping single-line diagrams, general arrangements, plan layouts, and cable schedules for power and control installationsCreating detailed schematic and termination diagrams for electrical equipment, wiring, and cablingDesigning control wiring for electrical protection systems, switchgear, controls, and instrumentationDesigning power reticulation systems for switchboardsPreparing and using spreadsheets to support the design of power distribution and control systemsConducting site visits and collaborating directly with clients to document existing installationsDefining the scope and requirements of drawing packages for the drafting teamDelivering design packages that meet Australian standards and align with project timelinesAbout youRequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must be able to provide examples of design deliverables you have personally developed, demonstrating your ability to meet the requirements outlined above. Additionally, you will have:5+ years of experience in electrical design, with a proven track record of delivering detailed designs in AustraliaProficient in Microstation or similar CAD packageStrong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively explain complex technical concepts to both colleagues and clientsExperience in the mining, infrastructure, energy sectors - highly regardedExceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a teamFull working rights in AustraliaAbout CADDS GroupCADDS Group is a leading Western Australian business delivering high-quality support across a diverse range of services.
