In this pivotal role, youll help shape the teams behind Australia''s fastest-growing artificial intelligence and machine learning companies.This is more than just filling rolesits about building world-class engineering and research teams that will define the future.About the RoleYoull work closely with hiring managers, founders, and CTOs across AI-driven startups and scale-ups, helping them find and secure top-tier talent in areas like machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and robotics. You''ll combine sharp sourcing strategies with a deep understanding of technical roles and emerging trends in the AI space.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with clients across AI, deep tech, and advanced analytics sectors to deliver end-to-end recruitment solutions.Source and engage candidates for highly specialised roles (e.g. ML Engineers, Data Scientists, AI Researchers, MLOps Engineers).Build and maintain pipelines of top talent in niche technical domains.Interview and assess candidates for both technical ability and team fit.Advise clients on market insights, hiring strategies, and candidate experience.Represent the brand at meetups, conferences, and in the AI tech community.About YouProven experience in technical recruitment, ideally with exposure to AI, software engineering, or data-focused roles.Confident communicating with highly technical candidates and stakeholders.Deep interest in artificial intelligence, emerging tech, and innovation ecosystems.Skilled in proactive sourcing using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and AI/ML communities.Able to thrive in a fast-moving environment and manage competing priorities with ease.Highly Regarded:Experience recruiting in startup or scale-up environments.Familiarity with hiring for research or academic-adjacent roles.Knowledge of AI/ML concepts or a background in STEM recruitment.We believe our people are at the centre of our organisation and the key to our success.
