If youare located in Perth, you will work normal business hours. If youare located in Melbourne or Sydney, your hours will be from 11:30amto 7:30pm AEST Monday through to Friday, in order for you to beable to support our Perth partners and employees with the use ofSmarter Law systems, including our case management platform,Sharedo.The Client Solutions sectionsits within Corporate Services and has approximately thirteenemployees nationally. The team drives our Smarter Law program, andthe teams work encompasses various initiatives and servicesaimed at improving client relationships and delivering innovativeand outstanding legal solutions. The team is comprised of legaloperations professionals and technologists.This role will support keyClient Solutions activities, whilst building knowledge,understanding and skills in the Legal Operations environment. Inaddition to helping provide Helpdesk Support, you will be immersedin operational activities such as business analysis, developmentlifecycle, low code development, ideation activities and gaining anunderstanding in how to turn ideas into reality.You will be responsiblefor:working across the ClientSolutions team to assist with the co-ordination of teammeetings and workshops;assisting the ClientSolutions Director and Managers on Smarter Law initiativesincluding pre-work, analysis and documentation;administering andsupporting the internal and external use of the firmssystems, providing training and demos wherenecessary;ensuring our knowledgebank is current and up to date;supporting the deliveryof Smarter Law focused presentations and workshops within thefirm;maintaining andmonitoring prototypes and deliverable apps on low-codeplatforms;co-ordinating updates andpublishing of the smarter law documentation, projects and plans(centrally and with the groups);being a point of contactfor general queries relating to Smarter Law; andassisting with thepreparation for and facilitation of internal workshops andhack-a-thons.AboutyouYou will ideally have thefollowing skills and experience:a keen interest ininnovation, automation and legal operations, with a passion fordoing things differently;an enthusiasm forlearning new concepts and techniques to supplement your legalor technology skills;an interest in, andexperience building, communities around Legal Operations orTechnology Helpdesk Support;a strong focus onaccuracy and attention to detail;a self-starter able torun alongside a busy team picking up work to ensure tightdeadlines are met;the ability to workautonomously and time-manage according to setpriorities;resilience andperseverance in the face of an industry that resistschange;a collaborative teamplayer with excellent communication and interpersonalskills;exposure or experiencewith automated systems such as workflow, decision trees, docautomation are advantageous but not mandatory; andexperience with JiraHelpdesk or legal environment is desirable.AboutusHall & Wilcox is a leadingindependent Australian law firm.
