A new Acute Service Building opened in early 2023 with state of the art modern facilities aimed at providing an exceptional staff experience and enhanced patient and family outcomes. It includes an expanded Emergency Department and Intensive Care Units, a Community Management Centre, and replacement of multiple existing inpatient wards with contemporary facilities. There will also be new research, education and training spaces, including additional spaces funded by UNSW Sydney, to enable clinical innovation and research, biomedical engineering, and clinical translational research laboratories collocated directly alongside clinical staff providing acute healthcare services.The hospital is accessible via a light rail service which stops right outside the main entrance, along with a range of bus services. Offering impressive beaches and coastal walks coupled with boutique restaurants, transport links and a vibrant nightlife, youll never be short of things to do in this progressive community.About The Role:Knowledge around Aged Care and relevant hospital experience is desirable, although support and training will be offered.
