You''ll work alongside a team that takes pride in working collaboratively and supporting one another, with this mindset reflected across the organisation.We are seeking a proactive and engaging Paralegal to report to the Senior Legal Counsel and support the Business Resilience team.Responsibilities IncludeConduct legal research on bills, legislation, and regulatory issuesSupport Senior Legal Counsel with legal training across business unitsMaintain and update legal and teamwork registersAssist with insurance program renewal and stakeholder coordinationProcess records requests per procedures and maintain registerMonitor legislation updates via Federal Legislation Register and other servicesTrack relevant legal developments through news and other channelsProvide guidance on corporate governance mattersHelp maintain statutory and contract compliance registers, and implement assurance proceduresAssist with some contract preparation (under Senior Legal Counsel supervision) and general document accuracy and quality control.About YouCurrently enrolled in the final 2 years of an Australian law degree, or experienced paralegal seeking part-time opportunities.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organised and able to track multiple work-streamsDriven, and able to work autonomously while prioritising competing tasksAdvanced MS Word skills, including template development, style management, and document formatting consistencyExcel and PowerPoint capabilities advantageousSolid understanding of Australian legislative frameworks and development processesAdaptable, positive and happy to help natureCollaborates with whole team to identify and suggest improvements.Why work with usWe believe our strength comes from our talented and dedicated staff.
