We strive to make the world healthier and more sustainable through innovation across Imaging, Information, and Monitoring systems.Your opportunityWe are seeking a Remote Service Engineer specialized in Digital Xray (DXR), reporting to the Service Delivery Team Leader. This role focuses on delivering advanced technical support to our customers, ensuring a superior experience daily.You will provide high-touch interactions, offering first-line technical support for product and service inquiries, problems, and requests, adopting a First Time Right approach.You will collaborate with Technical Support, Technology, and Service teams to remove barriers and ensure an exceptional customer experience. The role may include both remote and in-field service.Main responsibilities include:Manage inbound customer calls, remotely access systems, and perform initial diagnosis of DXR devices.Create cases, verify contract entitlements.Proactively monitor systems to achieve zero downtime.Schedule on-site visits if remote diagnosis is insufficient and order parts to enable first-time fixes.Confirm parts availability, process orders, and update field engineers on delivery status.Keep customers informed of next steps and delays.Escalate technical issues and support in-field engineers with technical knowledge during handover.Identify opportunities to improve customer experience.Support other Service Delivery teams to ensure consistent positive customer interactions.QualificationsDegree in Biomedical or Engineering, with experience in medical devices preferred.Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of complex DXR systems; field experience is required.Strong customer service orientation, excellent communication skills.Proficient in IT and Microsoft products.Proactive problem ownership.Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.Working at Philips is more than a job.
