CGGS students range from 3 years old in Early Learning through to young adults in Year 12.CGGS has a rich and proud culture, defined by collaboration, respect, adaptability, creativity, energy and innovation, and is dedicated to building staff abilities to contribute to their own growth and practice and system reform.The RoleThe Director of Learning Partnerships and Practice leads Professional Learning across the entire School. This position drives a collaborative culture of quality learning and operational excellence by leading an engaging and empowering professional practice program for both Teaching and Professional Services staff.Learning partnerships are integral to improving educational outcomes for learning at CGGS and this role is central in the management of partnerships with relevant universities, industries, networks and educational communities, both nationally and internationally.This position is a member of both the Educational Leadership Team (ELT) and the School Management Team (SMT) and is a high-profile member of the School community. This role has both a leadership and teaching commitment.Key Duties and Responsibilities (abridged; full details in Candidate Information Pack)Teaching Excellence and Professional LearningLead, plan and support the professional learning and development of all staff, in areas:- Annual whole school priorities, including compliance and regulatory requirements- Annual Teaching and Learning priorities- Annual wellbeing priorities- Promote a philosophy of life-long learning for all.Learning PartnershipsBuild a learning ecosystem by fostering strong collaborative relationships with partner organisations to provide the range, diversity and personalisation of learning opportunities to enable staff and students to thrive.Unlock the learning assets of communities for extensive engagement with stakeholders beyond the immediate school environment.Communication, Operations and ComplianceOversee the development of relevant policies and procedures as well as external reporting and compliance requirements.Oversee compliance and mandatory training requirements for the School, including managing relationships with training providers and ensuring content is relevant and contemporary.
